I’m Tuan Nguyen.
I am a husband and father of two.
I’m also a software engineer looking very closely at this AI moment.
The promise of technology was to free us, but for many of us, the opposite has become true. Without a proper telos, technology defaults to more speed, more scale, and more output, without asking what any of it is for.
Under this conviction, I am exploring how AI can serve a fuller human life by:
- Developing a more integrated and humane relationship with work that respects the rhythms of life rather than forcing everything into sitting at your desk for 40+ hours a week.
- Bringing technological power to the people who have historically been underserved by it, from local communities to small businesses and civic organizations.
- Minimizing or eliminating the everyday frictions, administrative burdens, and wasted effort that were previously too expensive to address.
For Founders
My background is in data ingestion, event-driven systems, and software architecture. I work with founders from the earliest prototype through the point where a working product begins to require a more durable technical foundation.
I can help clarify the system, test the difficult parts, build an initial version, and guide the architecture as the product grows.
For Business Owners
I work with owners and small organizations who believe AI could improve how their work gets done but do not have the time nor technical inclination to sort through the possibilities themselves.
You may have a recurring problem that keeps taking more time and attention than it should. I can work alongside you to understand the problem, determine where AI or lightweight software might genuinely help, and implement practical improvements.
I am looking for a small number of people who value having a technically experienced and curious partner investigate a real problem with them.
